SuperFace contains a small amount of ovine (sheep) placenta extract, a naturally derived cosmetic ingredient that has been used in skincare for many decades.
In cosmetics, placenta extracts are used for their skin-conditioning properties and are included at very low, regulated levels. The ingredient is not synthetic, not toxic, and is used only in topical products - it does not enter the bloodstream.
