At Not the Norm Natural Alternatives, our goal has always been simple: to create natural health products that truly work - without compromise. Since its introduction, CDQZ Immune Support has become one of our most trusted formulas, inspired by Dr Vladimir Zelenko’s pioneering work in immune health.

Many of our customers have asked if we plan to release an enhanced version of CDQZ - one that includes Vitamin K2 (MK7) and Magnesium, two nutrients known to complement Vitamin D. Naturally, we explored this idea. However, what we discovered reaffirmed our belief that the original CDQZ formula is precisely as it should be.

The Power of the Original Formula

CDQZ was carefully designed to deliver optimal immune support through a synergistic combination of:

• Vitamin C – a powerful antioxidant that supports immune cell function and resilience.
• Vitamin D3 – vital for immune modulation and overall vitality.
• Quercetin – a potent plant flavonoid that helps zinc reach the cells where it’s most effective.
• Zinc – essential for immune defence and antiviral support.

Each ingredient was selected and balanced with precision, ensuring maximum absorption and effectiveness.

When we explored adding Vitamin K2 and Magnesium, it became clear that doing so would alter that delicate balance - potentially compromising the purity and performance that make CDQZ so effective, and making the dosage higher, and the product infinitively more expensive.

Why We Chose Not to Change

We believe strongly in science-led simplicity. Rather than crowding one supplement with too many ingredients, we chose to preserve the integrity of what already works, and keep it affordable.

This decision wasn’t a step back - it was a commitment to staying true to CDQZ’s original purpose: to provide clean, targeted immune support that’s accessible, effective, and reliable.

By keeping CDQZ as it is, you can continue to enjoy the benefits of a formula trusted for its purity, potency, and consistency.

Supporting Vitamin D with Vitamin K2 and Magnesium

Of course, Vitamin D works best when your body has enough Vitamin K2 (MK7) and Magnesium - both play key roles in how Vitamin D functions:

• Vitamin K2 (MK7) helps direct calcium to your bones and teeth, rather than your arteries, supporting both bone and heart health.

• Magnesium is needed for your body to convert Vitamin D into its active form, enhancing its effectiveness and supporting over 300 biochemical processes.

Because everyone’s nutritional needs are unique, we believe it’s best to take these nutrients separately, in the amounts that suit you best. This flexible approach means you can easily pair CDQZ with your preferred Vitamin K2 and Magnesium supplements - without altering the purity of CDQZ itself.

Flexibility, Purity, and Proven Results

Your health is personal. That’s why CDQZ remains focused and finely balanced - giving you the freedom to tailor your supplement routine to your individual needs.

By keeping CDQZ pure, we’ve ensured it continues to deliver the targeted immune support that made it so popular in the first place. Whether you take it daily for maintenance or seasonally for an extra boost, CDQZ provides:

• Reliable immune defence.
• High bioavailability for effective absorption.
• A clean, uncomplicated formulation based on Dr Zelenko’s original concept.

While we did explore developing a “CDQZ+” formula, our testing showed that any additions would compromise the balance and potency of the original. So, we made a deliberate choice: to protect what works best.

For those wanting to enhance their overall nutrient profile, we encourage pairing CDQZ with separate Vitamin K2 (MK7) and Magnesium supplements. This approach gives you control, flexibility, and confidence in your health routine.

In Summary...

• CDQZ remains unchanged - because it works.
• Adding Vitamin K2 (MK7) and Magnesium separately lets you personalise your health support.
• Keeping the formula pure ensures the highest quality, potency, and results.

At Not the Norm, we believe true innovation means knowing when not to change what’s already right. CDQZ continues to stand as a powerful, proven, and trusted foundation for immune support - exactly as Dr Zelenko intended.
