I've only used a couple of times but I'm happy with the product. It does leave a bit of a white cast on skin but not too much and I'm not worried as I knew this at purchase. I look forward to using it for tye test of the summer
I've been using this charcoal for years. It has saved me from many hospital visits due to food allergies. It is a fantastic supplement that should be used by everyone in the U.S. as our food quality can be so poor.

I was very disappointed and I had bought the large couples holiday pack. Firstly I didn’t like the way it absorbed on the skin. Although the white hue was mentioned on the FAQs, it is so different to traditional sunscreens. Secondly, me and my husband both got burned. I don’t over expose myself, I’m mostly under an umbrella and hat etc. but yes large red patches on our skin, so my husband gave up on it the first day and said he got sun burn. I preserved as I believed in the concept. However by the third day I had to give up on it. As I got redder. I’m still not sure if it is the zinc oxide, that caused the redness or it was sun burn, either way I never usually burn. Also I got small white patches all over my skin.
I brought the larger pot and a mini pot as a deal for upcoming holiday but sadly did not like the product at all once arrived. It had a foul smell which both myself and my partner could not get over. It does not dispense earlier from the tin so u have to really work at it to soften it up and it has a bad white cast left on the skin. Rubbing did nt help much but made skin red! Not cheap and Gave away . Lovely idea to eliminate chemicals from sun products but needs work.

The scent varies from batch to batch depending on the shea butter we receive from the supplier – we never know what we’re going to get. This can vary season to season and depends on several natural influences. But it does mean that we mainly get batches that are very mild-scented, some that are neutral, and others are more earthy.
Shade will get firm in a cold environment, but all is not lost as it does soften up in warm temperatures.
You can also fix it by warming it by reheating it up on a plate over a saucepan. This won't affect it - it was made as a hot-fill product, and this just repeats the process to make it beautifully smooth and easy to apply.
1. Place the open tin on a plate over a pan of gently simmering water
2. Let it warm, then stir gently until smooth with something like a chopstick
3. Remove from heat and allow to cool before replacing the lid
4. That’s it - your Shade will be smooth and easy to apply again!
This won’t affect Shade’s sun protection and can be repeated if needed.
Shade may leave a light white cast on the skin. The non-nano zinc oxide sits on the surface of the skin and physically reflects, scatters and absorbs UV rays before they can penetrate. This is why you may notice a slight white cast - it's not a flaw, it's the active ingredient doing its job.
I have used this product for many years. I find it greatly reduces the frequency of unwanted hair growth and hairs ares much finer and less noticeable

Only one I can find not made with coconut. My doctor prescribed charcoal as a toxin binder and it seems to accomplish what my doctor hoped.

These where God sent.I have been dealing with IBS for a while now and I seem to get more sensitive to products as time goes.i was using activated charcoal for almost 2 years until my stomach became sensitive to them.I tried these out of desperation because of the gas pain and thank God the first day I felt they worked and didnt hurt me.I hope this company stays around for a long time.This is a great product better than any activated charcoal out these.The best part is dont have to worry about interactions with other supplements or drugs.Very sattisfied.I will be ordering my second bottle soon.

Great product for gentle daily detoxing. Very easy to use especially if you take medication and supplements, it’s not as difficult as when taking activated charcoal. I feel better when taking this product.

I baught these for my wife who stuggles with her digestive system - bloating and gas. She was not convinced when I suggested these to her as she has tried many things over the years... Truth be told - the first week was very painful she said, she almost stopped, but pressed through as i thought that it was perhaps the detox process (and needed to get things going to get the toxins out (could not find info on your website about this -which is why the 4 stars as we nearly stopped) . It's been 3 weeks now of 2 tablet per day and she says she is feeling far less bloated and far less gas. So i would say recommended.

Just tried this product out on a week’s holiday in sunny Spain. Very easy to apply, pleasant smell, and seems to go a long way. I loved the small tin which I kept in my handbag on days out to top up protection during the day. Temps reached mid thirties, cloudless blue skies most of the time and not a pink bit of skin in sight. I’d say that means it works very effectively. Wished I’d had this to use on my kids when they were little. The primary school they went to insisted on sending them with a bottle of sunscreen in the Summer months. I had to lie and say I’d applied an all day sunscreen before school because a) they were never in the Sun long enough at school for it to cause them a problem b) vitamin D is crucial to health and c) My gut instinct told me they were far more likely to get skin cancer from the chemicals in the sunscreen than from the English Sun. No one agreed with me at the time but at least now I know I’m not alone- thank you!
